Digital Credits: Jen C Designs BABY MINE BOY, fonts Pea Nicki, TechnoHeavy.

"Hush-a-bye" (sometimes called "All the Pretty Little Horses") is an Afro American folk song. I had to pull down my long - unused Curriculum Guide from the shelf in my office to find a song to use!
Challenge 4
Now Playing THE SOCIAL NETWORK, our challenge - scrap a page inspired by Facebook ... and I took that literally!!!  I clipped out pieces of my current FB page to create the background, and used layouts I had done with photos of my BEST FRIEND FOREVER - Mike.
Digital Credits: Clipped pieces of my actual Facebook page for background 1/20/2012

JOURNALING ON ARROW - Although he doesn't like to travel, Mike has followed me through 19 states in our 15 years together - He is my KEEPER!
Challenge 5

Digital Credits:  Jen C Designs IN THE WOODS (blue paper); Jen C Designs JANUARY TEMPLATE GRAB BAG - FADING MEMORIES 1 (blending mask on cloud); Marie H Designs POETRY OF THE SEA (sand and other beach elements); font - Librarian (HOME) Libby Script (other words); and 3 of my photos - cloud, lighthouse, and ocean (used twice) all blended into the background.  Our challenge was to create a layout inspired by a book cover - I chose Nicholas Sparks TRUE BELIEVER
Challenge 6
Challenge 6 was a NUMBER oriented layout - we were to take our inspiration from one of these movies:
101 Dalmatians
50 First Dates
13 Going on 30
2 Fast 2 Furious
I picked 50 First Dates, one of my favorites movies  I can watch over and over.  I love how the character wakes up in her "happy place" each day (she doesn't remember her reality) and her family works so hard each day to help her regain her reality.  Nothing puts me in my "happy place" faster than traveling, so my layout became 50 places to go!  And the photo from Ocracoke Island in 2009 definitely shows me in my "happy place."  There are 51 one places I would like to go, or go again with Mike!  (I added HOME at the last minute to the overlay, because I really do like home too!)

Go check out my layout and the others entered in Challenge 6 here at DSDI
