New from Sweet Digi Scraps

Sweet Digi Scraps has so many new kits at thedigichick - I'm loving everything I have worked with from her store.  These kits have been released since the last time I posted her product here on the blog.

Such a cute little birthday kit, but I took a very different route with my layout ... Mike's Cavalier rolled over 500,000 miles (yes, a half million miles on the same engine, and the same transmission! AMAZING!!!) on September 19 - so we celebrated with photos and a chocolate cake!

I had seen the pianos on the 16th Street Mall when we were in Denver in 2010, and I was so glad to see them still there (or actually back there - they put them away in the winter) when we visited in June of 2012!  "The Entertainer" in me emerged ... so I sat down and played "The Entertainer", a little rough but recognizeable!

I don't have many Halloween photos in my collection, so I decided to make a hybrid project this time ... a little door hanger for Halloween night.  It says: "NO costume NO candy!"  I thought I was going to give it to Blake and Chase, but decided I will just have to make them another one!  I really like it!  I'm going to hang it on the front door for Halloween, even though we don't have Trick-or-Treaters here in our neighborhood (the city hosts a party for the kids!)

This is one of Liz's older kits, but I'm so glad that she has it in the digichick store so that I got a chance to work with it!  Autumn is definitely my color palette of choice, and this one is a beauty!

I asked my friend Pat ( Mike's sister in upstate New York) to take some Fall foliage pictures for me in 2011.  This layout features some of the beautiful photos she sent me!  We just don't get color like this in Texas!  so sad ...

I really love the ALPHA in this kit - you can't tell in the photo, but it has text as art printed on it, and I so love that look!

This layout also features Jen C Designs OCTOBER TEMPLATE GRAB BAG

This is Liz's most recent  release ... so shabby chic and very unique as Halloween kits go!  I love Liz's style!  I'm glad she likes mine too so that I can be on her Creative Team.

When I posted my layout for A GHOSTLY TALE on the CT page, one of the other CT's suggested that maybe I should post last so I don't intimidate the rest of the crew!  (I am pretty quick when I'm inspired, and as before, I was the first on the team to post a layout!)

This layout also features Jen C Designs OCTOBER TEMPLATE GRAB BAG (BLENDS). The blending mask in the template pack made it so easy to blend that photo into Liz's beautiful paper that matched it so well!  The photos are from our 2011 trip to Galveston (we went back to the same spot in 2012 but the sky was not quite as SPECTACULAR as this one!).

Be sure to stop by Sweet Digi Scraps store at thedigichick and have a lot at all the gorgeous-ness there!  I want them all!!! (and I'm working my way up to that!)
