When I saw this kit, I immediately thought back to our vacation last Spring ... we visited the Strong Museum in Rochester, NY which houses the National Museum of Play (toys, toys, toys ... every toy you can imagine is showcased there!) On the day of our visit, the Museum was displaying some life size statues of famous Comic Strip Superheros! Mike balked a little at having his picture taken (so what's new!!!) but he finally submitted to the photo shoot! I got a couple pix of his "Superman stance" and then took a photo of him flying over the city of Rochester. (the skyline photo was actually huge on the wall ... sideways ... so the subject just stands normally, and it looks like flying! How fun is that?)
In the 18 (almost!) years we've been friends, he has proven himself to be the "hero" in my life many times! And I even got a giggle out of him when he saw this layout!
